The Learning & Development Specialist (L&D Specialist) provides all aspects of training, group facilitation, and coaching to external service providers, and MHP staff from leadership to administrative. The L&D Specialist delivers recovery and trauma-informed courses to MHP Staff, program participants, provider agencies and employers and, other Behavioral Health agents. Courses may include but are not limited to the following: MHP Certification programs (Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) and CPS Supervisor(S-CPS)), the WRAP series (Seminar I and II), continuing education courses, and professional development training opportunities to MHP staff. The L&D Specialist also ensures good and proactive communication about learning and development issues within MHP as well as with external partners and stakeholders. This position is also responsible for coaching activities with assigned constituencies (individuals and Stakeholder Meetings as described below). The position requires up to 75% travel, including overnight travel.
